MOK Foundations Empowers 25 Women Entrepreneurs With Cash In Kwara

The foundation will continue to bring succor and relief to the underprivileged and needy.

Ilorin, Kwara State– A non-governmental organization, the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode Foundation (MOK), as part of its commitment to alleviating poverty and reducing unemployment, empowered another 25 women in micro and small enterprises in Kwara State on Sunday.

The empowerment program was another phase of the MOK project, held in the Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State. Five women received thirty thousand naira, while twenty others received fifteen thousand naira each.

Rasak Lawal, on behalf of the MOK Foundation, presented the cash to the beneficiaries, added that the foundation will continue to bring succor and relief to the underprivileged and needy.

Mr. Rasak reiterated the Foundation’s mission of empowering women by creating platforms that foster economic independence and personal development.

One of the beneficiaries, Hajia Khadijat Salam, acknowledged the impact of the foundation on the lives of the people of Offa and its environs. She promised to make judicious use of the cash donation received.

Mrs. Shade Omoniyi assured the foundation of her readiness to always support its good cause. She prayed for the founder of MOK Foundation and reassured a long-term partnership between the market women and the foundation.
