Lagos RRS Rescues 2 Abandoned Children On 3rd Mainland Bridge
An investigation has commenced on the matter.
Lagos Police Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has rescued two under-age children, who alleged were abandoned on the third mainland bridge by their mother in Lagos State.
The children were identified as Chigozie Okonkwo and Bright Okonkwo, aged 10 and 9 years old.
Confirming the development on Friday evening, April 28, 2023, the Commander, of Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed that the children should be immediately transferred to Adekunle Police Station, Yaba.
Mr. Egbeyemi added that an investigation has commenced on the matter.
