KWSG Warns Residents Against Indiscriminate Dumping Of Refuse
The Commissioner urged the residents to always endeavour to make use of the bins
Kwara State Government has warned residents in the state particularly, the metropolitan city of Ilorin and its environs to desist from dumping refuse indiscriminately within the metropolis and on the road median.
This is based on the mandate handed down by the governor of the state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to ensure a dirt-free society.
The Commissioner for the ministry, Hon. Remilekun Banigbe had ordered the State Government Waste Management Special Intervention Truck to team up with the commercial contractors for a speedy job.
However, the Commissioner urged the residents to always endeavour to make use of the bins the government have provided at strategic locations and stop dumping indiscriminately.
