Kwara YPP Endorses Mustapha, Suleiman, Manko, Olododo, Shagaya

We are here to formally endorse the flag bearer of the APC

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Kwara has declared support for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) ahead of February 25 National Assembly elections.

Kwara YPP in a statement issued by its Chairman, Chief Dele Ogunbayo on Thursday, says the decision was taken after deep consultation with relevant stakeholders in the state and the party.

For Senatorial seats, the party endorsed Mallam Saliu Mustapha for Kwara Central, Prof. Wale Suleiman for Kwara South, and Adamu Manko for Kwara North.

Kwara YPP also adopted Hon. Abdulganiyu Cook-olododo of the SDP for the Ilorin-South/Ilorin-East Federal constituency and Mukthar Shagaya of the APC for Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency.

The statement read in part;
“We are here to formally endorse the flag bearer of the APC for the Kwara Central Senatorial, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the Kwara North Senatorial Candidate of the SDP Adamu Manko, Kwara South Senatorial Prof. Wale Suleiman of the SDP, Ilorin-South/Ilorin-East Federal Constituency Candidate Alhaji Abdulganiyu Cook-Olododo and Asa/Ilorin-West Federal Constituency Candidate Mallam Mukthar Shagaya in the forthcoming National Assembly election because we believe in their passion for Kwara State and service to the people – which is in line with our party’s ideology.”
