Kwara Govt Expands Medical Staff With New Doctors, Nurses
The new employees also expressed their gratitude to the state government for granting them the employment opportunity
The Kwara State Hospital Management Board (KW-HMB) conducted an induction for recently hired medical personnel into the state’s civil service on Thursday.
Recalled the state government had recently carried out recruitment for various positions within the health sector, aiming to address the gaps resulting from attrition.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State had given instructions for new recruitment to fill the vacancies left by retirements and resignations in the health sector.
The newly recruited health workers belong to categories such as medical doctors, pharmacists, and nurses.
Zubair Abdulhafeez, the Service Improvement Officer of KW-HMB, stated that the new workers received training from the SERVICOM Unit, explained that the training encompassed areas such as quality assurance, enhanced service delivery, and effective communication.
Other areas are code of conduct and public service rules.
The SERVICOM team encouraged the newly hired individuals to make the most of the opportunity provided by the Kwara State Government, says their aim is to enhance healthcare services in the areas where they have been assigned.
