The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, also known as Mai Dalilin Aure, has made a generous gesture towards the 22-year-old Keke rider who returned N15 million, along with some CFA currency, to the owner who had accidentally left the money in his tricycle.

Auwalu Salisu, the honest Keke rider, hailing from Kano, discovered the substantial sum of N15 million and promptly returned it to the owner, who happened to be from the Republic of Chad. Since this commendable act of honesty, Salisu has garnered widespread recognition and appreciation from various quarters, including government officials, organizations, and individuals.

He has even received several tokens of gratitude, including a brand-new tricycle.

The matchmaking group, in an act of appreciation for Salisu’s integrity and virtuous character, has pledged to provide him with an opportunity to select a life partner from a pool of ten women.

Notably, among these prospective brides, two are the daughters of Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, the Chairman of the association.

Yakasai emphasized that Salisu’s actions exemplify the virtues of integrity, honesty, and trust, qualities reminiscent of the esteemed Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This exemplary display of trustworthiness led the association to bestow upon him these generous gifts.

In Yakasai’s words, “The boy has shown the good character of our Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). He is indeed trustworthy. That is why we have decided to honour him with these gifts. There are 10 women for him to select four, and two of them are my daughters.”
