ISWAP Abduct 3 Humanitarian Workers, 2 Security Guards In Borno

The Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) has abducted three humanitarian staff working with the Family Health International (FHI360), and two security guards in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.

FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people of the North East.

According to Zagazola Makama, a Counterinsurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake region, unconfirmed numbers of the terrorists stormed the guest house of the Non Governmental Organisation at about 4a.m on Wednesday April 26, 2023 and whisked the victims away to an unknown destination.

There is no official statement from the organization since the news of the abduction broke out.
