I Have No Plan To Join APC – Nyesom Wike
We are Nigerians and we have come to give the president support.
The immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said that he has no plan of joining the ruling All Progressives Congress.
This is coming after he and a sitting Peoples Democratic Party Governor, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state; and a PDP Chieftain and former governor of Delta state, James Ibori, visited President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa on Friday, June 2.
Wike, a chieftain of the PDP, dismissed rumours that he was planning to join the APC and denied that switching to the APC was on the agenda of the meeting.
“No. No plans. Nothing like that in the offing.
“We are Nigerians and we have come to give the president support. That is what is required. There is no big deal about that,” he added.
