Gunmen Attack Abuja Community, Chief Killed, 9 Abducted
The kidnappers looted shops during the incident.
Kidnappers attacked Pavu village in Kuje Area Council, FCT, killing Madaki and Manasseh Gambo, and while they abducted nine people.
A resident named Samson Ishaya, who confirmed the incident, reported that the gunmen infiltrated the community at about 1:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2023.
He gave the names of the victims who were abducted as follows: Haruna Musa, Josiah Gonna, Emmanuel Haruna, Afayinya Josiah, Benjamin Thomas, Sister Gift, Shalom Josiah, Patience Thomas, and FearGod Thomas.
“Unfortunately, the madaki, who is the second in command to the village head, was shot dead by the kidnappers after he attempted to escape,” he said.
Ishaya also mentioned that the kidnappers looted shops during the incident.
