Gunmen Abduct Father, Son In Ondo
The student and his father were waylaid and kidnapped along the notorious route
Akure, Ondo State– Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a student of the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Imeri, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, identified as Jethro Onose, along with his father, Maliki Onose, near the border between Edo and Ondo States.
It was gathered that the student and his father were waylaid and kidnapped along the notorious route on the Edo and Ondo Road while taking the boy to the school.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Funmilayo Odunmlami-Omisanya, confirmed the incident when contacted on phone.
Odunmlami-Omisanya said efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims unhurt and bring the perpetrators to justice.
