Gobir Promises To Fix Oro-Ago, Babanla Road, If Elected Governor

Kwara State governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Waziri Yakubu Gobir has promised to fix the popular Oro-Ago to Babanla road in Ifelodun local government area once elected as Governor.
Mr Gobir condemned the deplorable state of the road from the neighbouring community Ollla to Oro-Ago and promised to fix it when elected as the Governor of Kwara State come 2023.
Aláànú Mẹ̀kúnnù met YPP members across towns and wards to sensitize them on the need to mobilize support for all of the YPP candidates ahead of the 2023 general elections.
“I was supposed to be here very early but due to the bad state of the road from Oro-Ago which is not motorable, that affected our trip’s calculations. I am assuring you that if elected as the Governor of Kwara State the road will be fixed within the first six months in Government House.
He also visited Babanla community in the Ilere ward of the Ifelodun Local Government. At the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Yusufu Aliu, the Arolo Joye 2 of Baba Nla, Gobir and his running mate, Hon. George received royal blessings and prayers from His Majesty and his chiefs.
He, however, charges supporters to look beyond the party and the personality of contestants.
Meanwhile, Oba Yusufu Aliu (Arojo Joye 2 of Baba Nla) eulogized Gobir’s generosity to Kwarans through his foundation, the Gobir Organisation Foundation. He also prayed for success for Gobir in 2023.
In his speech, the Chairman Chief Ogundele Ogunbayo said; “Our flag-bearer has a track record of supporting the poor even without being in politics. He was implored to run due to his generosity and professional experiences. YPP is here as succour through Waziri”.
The House of Representatives candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun federal constituency, Hon. Adepoju Oluwafemi Ayodeji (Pillar) charged supporters to obtain their permanent voter’s card to give the YPP Guber candidate and himself the ability for experienced and empathetic representation in 2023.
