“People want to survive, people are dying on the daily basis, about two people collapsed here yesterday because they don’t have money to go to  the hospital, we are not here because of politics or the 2023 election, he said.”

” We gave them the money instantly, the interest-free loan starts from N20, 000  to N200,000 depending on the people’s request. Yesterday we were able to register a thousand registrants.

He explained that some need money to pay their medical bills, school fees, and while many want the money to support their business, the foundation will investigate their request and grant it to those that are real.

Mr. Bolu emphasizes that Gobir Foundation is about the people, and the empowerment program is targeted to bring relief and succor to every beneficiary in the State.

He, however, corrected the impression from some political quarters that Gobir is giving money to the people because of politics, he describes those that are badmouthing the foundation as mischievous people.

Why did you think people are calling Yakubu Gobir ‘Alanu Makunu’?  is because of his generosity to the people.

He urged all the beneficiaries not to abuse the privilege given to them, and that they should use the money judiciously.
