Gobir Congratulates AbdulRasaq As Chairman Of Nigeria Governors’ Forum

Governor Abdulrazaq has demonstrated exceptional leadership since he assumed office in 2019

The former Kwara Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Waziri Yakubu Gobir has congratulated Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).

Gobir who stepped down for Governor Abdulrazaq during the last election, described Governor Abdulrazaq’s emergence as a testament to his leadership qualities and the confidence reposed in him by his colleagues.

He noted that the Governor’s election as Chairman of the NGF was a well-deserved honour, considering his exceptional performance and commitment to good governance in Kwara State.

“Governor Abdulrazaq has demonstrated exceptional leadership since he assumed office in 2019, especially in the areas of infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. He commended the Governor for his efforts towards repositioning Kwara State and setting it on the path of sustainable development.

He, however, urged  Abdulrazaq to use his new position as Chairman of the NGF to promote the collective interests of all Nigerian governors and work towards addressing the various challenges facing the country.
