Engr. Kale Kawu Facilitates 100KW Hybrid Solar Mini Grid To Boost Power, Agriculture In Kwara Community

Ilorin, Kwara State — A 100KW Hybrid Solar Mini Grid designed to power agricultural clusters, businesses, and households has been commissioned and officially handed over to the people of Lafiagi in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The project, facilitated by Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu-Agaka, FNSE, the Dan-Iyan Ilorin Emirate and Hasken Lafiagi Emirate, aims to improve electricity supply, enhance agricultural irrigation, and create employment opportunities in the rice-producing region.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, former Edu Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Alfa Tsonga, and other stakeholders described the initiative as a milestone for sustainable rural development.
