Edo Police Arrest 4 For Stealing Disco’s Cables

Operatives of Edo State Police Command have arrested four suspects identified as Monday Iriah, James Akagbe, Jesubu Ogbesia and Mustapha Suleman, for stealing armoured cable in Ujagbolo community in Esan Central LGA of the state.

They were arrested after the DPO of Irua received information that hoodlums vandalised the Benin Electricity Distribution Company’s (BEDC’s) transformer in Ujagbolo and stole its armoured cable.

Edo Police Command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, said they will be arraigned in court after the investigation has been concluded.
