The YPP House of Reps Candidate for Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero federal constituency, Charles Olufemi Folayan, has congratulated the good and industrious people of his constituency on the celebration of this year democracy day.

Asoju Odo said though democracy is one of the best systems of governance adopted by many developed and developing nations, it’s sad that the system in Nigeria is not given much to the common people at the moment.

He noted that democratic governance should ordinarily facilitate rapid development at the grassroots but it’s rather unfortunate that those who are opportune to be in a position of leadership have not prioritized the needs of the masses.
