Delta Police Rescue Abducted Victim, Kill Two Suspected Kidnappers

Asaba, Delta State – Operatives of the Delta Police Command engaged in a fierce shootout with suspected kidnappers, resulting in the death of two perpetrators and the rescue of an abducted victim.

The suspects were killed by operatives attached to the Ekpan division at a bush in the Ekakpamre community in Ughelli-South Local Government Area.

The Delta Police spokesperson, Bright Edafe further disclosed that one of the suspects escaped with gunshot injuries.

Items recovered from the kidnappers include the abductee’s vehicle, three firearms, two single-barrel and one double-barrel gun with two expended cartridges.

The image maker said efforts are ongoing to arrest the suspect who escaped.
