Court Remands Skit Maker ‘Trinity Guy’, Victim’s Parents In Prison

The court then ordered that the parents of the little girl in the video be remanded alongside Trinityguy at the Agodi correctional centre till the next sitting scheduled for July 11

A Family Court sitting at Iyaganku area of Ibadan, Oyo State on Tuesday ordered that a skit maker, Maruf Abdullahi, aka ” Trinity Guy”, and parents of an assaulted 10-year-old girl continue to be remanded in the Agodi Correction Centre, Ibadan.

The Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Oluwakemi Arowosaye had told the court that the three defendants conspired together to sexually abuse the girl, adding that: “Trinity Guy”, on Dec. 17, 2022, sexually abused and exploited the girl in the Kuala area of Ibadan. Abdullahi was asking the victim the colour of his penis, recording the scene and posting it on social media,” she said.

The Magistrate, Mrs P. O. Adetuyibi ordered that the skit maker, alongside the parents of the minor, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and Rofiat Ahmed, 29, should continue to be remanded in Agodi till August 3, for mention.

“On June 26 on a two-count charge bothering of Sexual Abuse and sexual exploitation violating Secs 516 of the Criminal Code cap 38. While being arraigned, counsel to the defendants urged the court to grant his client bail.

Magistrate PO Adetuyibi, said the allegation against the Skit maker and the two others, is currently receiving the attention of the state Ministry of Justice.
