Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have killed 7 persons in Jos the South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incessant killing is coming less than 24 hours after 18 other persons lost their lives during a clash between bandits and members of a vigilante group in the Wase Council Area of the State.
Rwang Tengwong, the National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Moulders Association, confirmed the recent killings in Jos South LGA to newsmen on Monday in Jos.
According to him, seven people have been confirmed dead at Danda chugwi community following an attack by suspected Fulani militias.
He said that the attack happened on Sunday, 31st July, 2022 at about 9:00pm.
Mr Tengwong said, “Others who sustained serious gun injuries have been taken to Vom Christian hospital for immediate medical attention.”
However, the security agencies in the State are yet to issue a statement concerning the killings.
