Aluko Leads Wahab Issa, Cook-Olododo In ‘Nigerians Decide’ Poll
Nigerians Decide, an independent research body based in the United States of America, in an online poll conducted this year has indicated that candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko, is the top pick for the Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency seat in the February 25 general elections.
According to the poll, about two-thirds of respondents said they plan to vote for Aluko.
Yinka Aluko, who garnered 906 votes, led his closest rivals, Wahab Issa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Abdulganiyu Cook-Olododo of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Wahab had 474 votes, and Cook-Olododo polled 325 votes, according to the latest poll released by Nigerians Decide.
The online poll was launched on December 6, 2022, and concluded on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, to predict the possible direction and outcome of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.
It is confirmed that the poll had no connection, relationship, or link with any politician or organization interested in Nigerian politics but was purely for data collection.
