AbdulRazaq Approves Bail-Out Funds For State-Owned Tertiary Institutions

He urged the management of the institutions to judiciously utilise the funds

The Kwara State has approved the release of the sum of One hundred and twenty million naira (NGN120,000,000.00) as bail- out funds to four (4) State-owned Tertiary Institutions – The three (3) Colleges of Education and the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies in the State

Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education Dr Alabi Afees Abolore made this known on Thursday 16th February, 2023 while addressing Journalists in Ilorin.

He stated that the approval for release of funds was considered as an intervention to aid the smooth running of the institutions under the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led Administration in the State.

“We would all recall that similar several interventions of this nature have been witnessed by our Tertiary Institutions since inception of the current administration led by His Excellency, Mallam Abdurahman Abdulrazaq.

He urged the management of the institutions to judiciously utilise the funds in order to serve the purpose with which it was released

Dr Abolore expressed the  AbdulRazaq led Administration’s readiness at improving the status of all our Citadel and urged the institutions to Compliment the efforts of Government through upgrading their teaching methodology in order to achieve an enhanced qualitative Academic service delivery.

He, however, encouraged all Heads of Tertiary Institutions to be steadfast and committed towards supporting the policy direction of the Present Administration.
