Suspected Cultists Abduct, Kill Three In Rivers

The woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ had fled the community.

Port-Harcourt, Rivers State– Suspected cultists believed to be loyal to the infamous General ‘Danger’ invaded the serene Egbeh community in Ubie kingdom, Ahoda West Local Government Area of Rivers State, and abducted three persons, including a woman.

It was gathered that the corpses of the three abductees were found along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom later in the day.

Before the incident, reports confirmed that the two male victims, now deceased, had engaged in a heated quarrel with a woman identified as the mother of General ‘Danger’ and the dispute escalated to the point where the woman reportedly vowed to take drastic action against the two men.

Meanwhile, General Danger is said to be the leader of the Iceland cult group in the area.

It was further learnt that the lady who was abducted alongside the two males was a girlfriend to one of the males, while the woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ had fled the community.

Shortly after they were whisked away by the hoodlums, there was pandemonium in the community as the natives raised the alarm leading to a search.

“We started searching to know where the boys took the three people to. We started hearing gunshots between Egbeh and Ebiriba Road. Later when community people went there, they saw the bodies of the three people that these bad boys have killed,” a source told the publication.

Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident, saying the investigation is ongoing to apprehend the suspects and make them face the law.

“Yes I’m aware of the incident, three persons were killed and we are making efforts to ensure that the perpetrators are arrested and meant to face justice. The investigation is ongoing as we speak,” the PPRO added.
