Keke Rider Disappears With Four School Children In Abia 

The parents of the missing children reported that the Keke rider took them to an unknown destination.

Umuahia, Abia State -A commercial tricyclist known as keke rider have disappeared with four school children that he was contracted to transport to school in Umuahia, Abia State.

The victims have been identified as Mmesoma, Testimony, Godswill, and Chinwotito, all belonging to Mr. Chimaobi Agah. Mr. Agah, from Amasiri in Ebonyi State, has been a resident of Umuagu, Umuahia, where the unfortunate incident took place.

ASP Maureen Chinaka, the spokesperson for the State Police Command, confirmed the incident, stating that the incident was reported at the Ohuhu Police Station on November 28, 2023.

She said that the parents of the missing children reported that the Keke rider took them to an unknown destination.

“They reported the matter to the Ohuhu Police Station and the DPO in charge of the division swung into action, searching for the kids in the neighbourhood, including hotels,” she said.

“Investigation is ongoing on the matter.”

Speaking to newsmen, the father of the children said the incident happened while he was on a business trip.

When he returned, his wife informed him of the case.
