The impeachment threat against Governor Fubara has been a contentious issue

Port Harcourt, Rivers State–  The chamber of the Rivers State House of Assembly has been engulfed in flames amidst rumours of an impending impeachment move against Governor Similanayi Fubara, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

It was gathered that some thugs in a white Hilux van invaded the assembly complex at about 9 pm, disarmed the security personnel on duty and allegedly carried out the act.
