Kidnappers Abduct Reverend Father Thaddeus Terhembe In Taraba
The kidnappers invaded their victim’s home without any interference,
Jalingo, Taraba State – Armed men suspected to be kidnappers abducted Reverend Father Thaddeus Terhembe of Wukari Catholic Diocese in Taraba State in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred at his parish, Saint Ann’s Parish, in Sarkin Kudu, Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba State.
In a press statement issued by Rev. Fr. John Jerome, the communication officer of the Catholic Diocese of Wukari, it was confirmed that he was abducted from Saint Ann’s Parish in Sarkin Kudu, located in the Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The statement urged residents to fervently pray for Rev. Fr. John Jerome’s safety and swift return.
In a related incident, two people were reportedly abducted in the Gulum area of Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State. The perpetrators not only kidnapped them but also seized their personal belongings.
The kidnappers invaded their victim’s home without any interference, subsequently leading them through a bush path to an undisclosed location.
Taraba State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Usman, confirmed the incident.
