Gunmen Abduct Two In Gombe Community

Gombe State, Nigeria– Gunmen stormed Shabewa village in Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe State, kidnapping two people during a daring raid.

The assailants targeted the residence of Mr Umar Sambo, who narrowly escaped their clutches by fleeing into the nearby bush. However, the kidnappers succeeded in abducting his wife, Amina Sambo, and his brother, Mustafa Sambo.

As of the time of filing this report, no contact has been established with the abductors.

The Gombe State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, confirmed the incident, he said that the police have taken swift action in response to the incident.

Patrol teams, in collaboration with local vigilantes and hunters, have been dispatched to track down and apprehend the kidnappers.
