Why Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq Should Continue His Administration Of Grand Development, By Abdullateef Togun Abdullahi

Before the advent of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Kwara State and its people were wallowing in dungeon of maladministration caused by constant imposition of political officers and administrators by godfathers who were only after their own selfish and personal gains and this was what brought about the political tsunami of O’toge in 2019 which permanently retired these godfathers and ushered in a new government of the people of Kwara, by well-meaning people of Kwara, for the people of Kwara, the government of change ably led by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

Immediately he was sworn-in as the Executive Governor, he began to touch every sector in the state with his midas hand and began to bring sporadic changes to the people of Kwara.

In the Education Sector, newly classrooms were constructed across the State both for the Primary and Secondary schools. School teachers were recruited, trained on technology, vocational skills and capacity building, arrears owed by the previous administration were also paid. The Tertiary Institutions across the State also benefitted in the largesse of construction as various buildings were constructed.

Before the coming of his administration, roads were at the worst as they turned eye sore, causing various accidents and loss of life. Immediately Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq got in, he swung into action and roads are now being reconstructed, constructed and made to wear a new look across the 16 LGAs of the State stopping the loss of life and valuables caused by the previous deplorable state of roads in the State.

This is how the government of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has touched every other Sector too with Kwara State beaming with developments in every corner. The Health sector, Youths, Security, Economy, Women and Children, Agriculture all have the Governor to thank for bringing in various important changes and development to them.

Another notable achievement of Gov Abdulrahman is Kwara state social investment program (Kwassip) which has turned and upturned lives of the people including the youths, though the program might have a condemnable act to some but it favour many which makes it a laudable effort to curb poverty in the state.

It is therefore important that these level of groundbreaking achievement be allowed to continue in the State and the only way to continue this is by re-electing the Architect of New Kwara, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
