UPDATE: Suspended Minister ‘Betta Edu’ Denied Access To See President Tinubu

Her access tag to the villa was promptly revoked by the president’s security team.

Abuja, Nigeria- In a dramatic turn of events at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the recently suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, was allegedly denied access to President Bola Tinubu.

Following the announcement of her suspension, the minister promptly arrived at the presidential villa in Abuja. It appears that she intended to engage in a face-to-face discussion with the president.

Despite successfully passing through all security checks leading up to the president’s office, she encountered a barrier preventing her from meeting Tinubu.

Meanwhile, in addition to being denied an audience with President Tinubu, her access tag to the villa was promptly revoked by the president’s security team.

Recalled earlier today, President Tinubu ordered a probe into the suspended minister over a sum of N585 million which was paid into a private account.
