UNILORIN Students Injured In Lone Auto Accident On University Road
One of the accident victims lost her arm, while another female victim was found apparently lifeless
Ilorin, Kwara State- Some students from the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) have reportedly sustained varying degrees of injuries following a single-vehicle accident along University Road on Thursday.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a small commercial bus, commonly known as a ‘Korope,’ suffered a tire burst while in motion.
The sudden blowout led to the vehicle losing control and veering off the road
It was gathered that one of the accident victims lost her arm, while another female victim was found apparently lifeless at the scene.
Kunle Akogun, a spokesman for the school, confirmed the accident but stated that there were no casualties.
He stated that those involved in the accident were receiving treatment at the school clinic.
