Troops Arrests Key Boko Haram Logistics Syndicate In Borno
The MNJTF reported that the syndicate admitted to being a major logistics provider for the terrorists.
Maiduguri, Borno State- Troops from the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), deployed in Sector 3 Mongunu, have arrested a Boko Haram/ISWAP logistics supply syndicate.
The operation, executed in coordination with intelligence agencies and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), occurred at Cross Kauwa Market in Mongunu, Borno State.
The suspects, identified as Modu Gana, Mamman Saleh, and Babagana Muktar, were captured while attempting to deliver essential supplies to terrorist strongholds.

Among the seized items were a Techno phone, six goats, one carton of Maggi seasoning, various charms, bags of guinea corn and millet, grounded corn, metal bowls, a calculator, a wristwatch, perfume, prayer beads, 36 empty sack bags, and other crucial supplies.
The statement from the MNJTF noted, “This operation has significantly disrupted the terrorists’ supply chain and dealt a severe blow to their operations in the region.”
“The suspects are currently being interrogated to gather further intelligence that could lead to additional arrests and the dismantling of the terrorist logistics network in the Lake Chad Region.”
The MNJTF commended the swift action and collaborative efforts of their troops and intelligence operatives, underscoring their ongoing commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring regional safety and security.
