Terrorists Storm Kwara Community, Kill Two Farmers, Abduct Two Women In Fresh Attack

Ilorin, Kwara State– Terrorists stormed the Oko-Erese community along Oro-Ago in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, killing two farmers and abducting two women during the attack.
Sources who spoke to Afrika Eyes revealed that the incident occurred on Tuesday when the assailants stormed the agrarian community and launched a violent assault on unsuspecting residents.
According to the source, the attackers specifically targeted farmers working in the area, opening fire and causing chaos as villagers fled for safety.
“The terrorists invaded Oko-Erese community along Oro-Ago and killed two farmers. They also abducted two women during the attack,” the source said.
The source further disclosed that in a separate but related incident, another victim narrowly escaped death after being attacked by the assailants.
“They shot at him but the gun did not penetrate him. However, they used sticks to hit his head as he tried to escape from them,” the source added.
The injured victim was said to have sustained serious head injuries and is currently receiving treatment, although details of his condition remain unclear as of the time of filing this report.
The latest attack has created fear among residents of kwara south, many of whom have repeatedly raised concerns over increasing insecurity and the growing presence of armed groups in rural communities across Kwara State.
Earlier, Afrika Eyes reported that armed terrorists on Tuesday afternoon launched a violent attack in Babanla community, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, leaving a forest guard officer knoen as Saheed severely injured and abducting a resident identified as Rashid Oke-Apata.
Sources who spoke to Afrika Eyes said the incident occurred in broad daylight, throwing the community into panic as gunshots rang out during the assault.
According to the source, the forest guard officer and the abducted victim were travelling on a motorcycle when they were ambushed by the assailants.
“The two of them were on a motorcycle when the terrorists suddenly appeared and opened fire on them,” the source said. “The forest guard refused to stop despite the gunshots. In the process, they attacked him with a machete and cut his hand deeply.”
“While trying to escape, the other man jumped down from the bike, but the terrorists caught him and took him away,” the source explained.
A disturbing video obtained by Afrika Eyes shows the injured forest guard officer with a deep machete wound on his hand, bleeding profusely, as bystanders gathered around him in shock.
