Terrorists Attack Travellers On Kwara Community, Man Escapes Unhurt As Bullets Shatter Car Engine

Ilorin, Kwara State- Terrorists attacked travellers on Tuesday evening along the Eruku–Egbe highway in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, near the border between Kwara and Kogi states.
According to reports obtained by Afrika Eyes, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. near the volatile Eruku–Egbe axis, a route notorious for frequent attacks by armed gangs.
Afrika Eyes gathered that a man travelling from Ilorin narrowly escaped the attack.

Residents of Eruku and neighbouring communities have continued to express concern over the rising wave of insecurity in the area, calling on security agencies to intensify patrols along the Kwara–Kogi border corridor.
