Tension In Kano As Soldiers Arrive At Dethroned Emir’s Palace
Gwarzo alleged that the NSA released two jets to bring Ado Bayero to Kano
Kano State- The atmosphere in Kano grew tense on Thursday as a contingent of soldiers arrived at the mini-palace of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the dethroned emir, under orders from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The deployment has raised concerns among residents and political observers about the stability of the state.
The dethroned emir, removed from power by Governor Yusuf, witnessed the arrival of military personnel at his residence, intensifying an already volatile situation.
It was gathered that the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, facilitated the emir’s return to Kano by providing two jets to transport Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero back to the city and to his mini-palace, where the military presence has now become a focal point of concern among residents.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Kano, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, Deputy Governor of Kano, had accused the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, of facilitating the return of the dethroned Emir.
In a short video interview at Emir’s palace in Gidan Rumfa on Saturday, Gwarzo alleged that the NSA released two jets to bring Ado Bayero to Kano.
According to him, “The National Security Adviser gave two jets to bring the dethroned emir to Kano and to bring him to the place. We have not understood their intention.”
