Ten Burnt To Death As Tanker Explodes On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Three of the vehicles were burnt in the inferno.
At least 10 persons were burnt to death and three vehicles were razed as a tanker explodes on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Afrika Eyes gathered that several vehicles were razed as a petrol-laden tanker exploded around the Sagamu axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway this morning, October 20.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander in Ogun State, Ahmed Umar, who confirmed the incident to newsmen said two tankers, one flatbed trailer, and one car were involved in the explosion that occurred around 1 am today.
Mr Umar said three of the vehicles were burnt in the inferno.
He also said while 12 persons were involved in the inferno, 10 persons were burnt to death while two occupants of the vehicles escaped.
