Ramadan: Shagaya Foundation Announces Multimillion Naira Cash Relief For 1000 Beneficiaries In Kwara

The initiative aims to alleviate the economic hardships faced by many in the State.

Ilorin, Kwara State– The Salman Shagaya Foundation has announced its plans to disburse multimillion naira cash empowerment funds to over 1000 people across Kwara State during the holy month of Ramadan.

This is contained in a statement by the Director General, Salman Shagaya Foundation, Alhaji Muftau Akanbi Oke, on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Akanbi Oke stated that the initiative aims to alleviate the economic hardships faced by many in the State.

According to the statement;  “Sheriff Shagaya, recognized for his exceptional philanthropic efforts through the NGO, has authorized the release of funds to support indigent groups and individuals throughout Ramadan.

“This generous act seeks to provide relief from the nation’s economic challenges, which are particularly felt during this sacred period.

“The event, scheduled for Saturday, March 16th, 2024, will take place at the Hon. Muktar Shagaya Constituency Office at 9:00 AM. It will be divided into two categories: Category A beneficiaries will receive one hundred thousand naira (N100,000), while Category B beneficiaries will receive fifty thousand naira (N50,000).

He added that the Salman Shagaya Foundation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to uplifting the lives of the less fortunate in Kwara State, and this latest initiative further cements its dedication to the well-being of the community.

“As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, this timely intervention will undoubtedly bring much-needed relief to the selected beneficiaries and their families,” the statement said.
