Police Arrest Two Suspects For Tricycle Theft In Enugu
The tricycle was recovered upon the arrest of the suspects
Enugu State– Operatives of the Enugu State Command have arrested two suspects for stealing a tricycle from Achara Layout in the State.
In a statement on Thursday, July 4, 2024, the Spokesperson of the command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said the suspects have been arraigned and remanded in custody.
The statement read, “One Friday Ogbu “m” aged 31 and Onovo Sunday Udochukwu “m” aged 34, were arrested by Enugu State Police Command’s Operatives serving in the Enugu Area Command for allegedly stealing a tricycle from where it was parked at Achara Layout, Enugu, in the night hours of June 22, 2024, have been arraigned in the Enugu South Magistrate Court and remanded in the Correctional Custodial Centre.
“The tricycle was recovered upon the arrest of the suspects, while the owner of the tricycle was located and he identified the tricycle as his.
“The suspects were arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.”
