Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Raping JSS 1 Student In Ogun
No person involved in such an act will evade punishment as it is a serious crime against human rights violations.
Abeokuta, Ogun State– A 24-year-old man, Gadafi Bala, has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping a Junior Secondary School, JSS1, student of Aderegun Community High School, Ogijo in Sagamu, Ogun state.
In a statement by the command spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, said the Division Police Officer visited the victim and ordered the girl be examined upon receiving the report.
“The result proved positive that one Gadafi had unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim.
“No person involved in such an act will evade punishment as it is a serious crime against human rights violations.
”Sequel to the result being confirmed by a doctor of a government-owned hospital, Gadafi was promptly arrested,” she said.
”Preliminary investigation has commenced into the matter and the case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.
