Police Arrest 16-Year-Old For Defiling Minor In Adamawa
The suspect allegedly took advantage of the victim when she went to fetch water at the stream
Yola, Adama State– A 16-year-old boy identified as Basiru Enu, has been arrested for allegedly defiling a nine-year-old girl in Kwatau Village, Hong local government area of Adamawa state.
This is contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, who said the suspect was arrested at Kala’a Division following a Complaint received from the girl’s father.
According to him, the suspect allegedly took advantage of the victim when she went to fetch water at the stream and forcefully had sexual intercourse with the little girl.
He explained that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatole Adeniyi, frowned at the incident and ordered the officer in charge of the Family Unit to take over the investigation and ensure the prosecution of the suspect.
