Ondo Governor Dissolves Executive Council, Retains Two Commissioners
All affected officials have been directed to hand over government properties in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
Akure, Ondo State– Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has dissolved the State Executive Council, effective immediately.
However, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, have been exempted from the shake-up due to the critical nature of their roles.
This was made in a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
According to the statement, all affected officials have been directed to hand over government properties in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing cabinet members to the state’s development and wished them success in their future endeavors.
“All the affected cabinet members are to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the EXCO members for their service and contributions to the development of Ondo State under his administration and wished them well in their future endeavours.”
