NURTW Pledges Continuous Support For Kwara Govt’s Peace-Building Efforts
He emphasized the union’s dedication to promoting peace, security, and development
Ilorin, Kwara State– The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Kwara State Council, Alhaji AbdulRasaki Ariwola, has pledged to continuously collaborate with the Kwara State Government to ensure peace and unity in the State.
Ariwola made the pledge when the Technical Assistant to the Governor on Transport, Hon. Musibau Sola Abubakar, and Chairman of the State Assembly Commission, Hon. Femi Yusuf, paid a courtesy visit to him in Ilorin, the state capital.
Abubakar expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the NURTW in maintaining peace and order within society and acknowledged the crucial role transport unions play in ensuring smooth operations across various sectors.
The Governor, through his representatives, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of the NURTW and emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration between the government and the transport union to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
Earlier, Alhaji Ariwoola, in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the visit and reiterated the commitment of the NURTW to work hand in hand with the government towards the advancement of the state.
