NRC Warns Of Fake Ticketing Website

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has issued a warning to Nigerians regarding a fraudulent e-ticketing website specifically targeting the Lagos-Ibadan Train Service.

This is contained in a statement by the spokesperson for the NRC, Mahmoud Yakubu, said the NRC has discovered a fake ticketing website for the Lagos-Ibadan Train Service, created by fraudsters with the intention of deceiving and scamming unsuspecting train passengers.

“NRC is yet to commence selling of Lagos to Ibadan train tickets online, he added.

“Lagos-Ibadan train passengers should be wary of these fraudulent cyber space criminals by obtaining their train boarding tickets at Railway stations as NRC is working hard to introduce secured online ticketing on Lagos to Ibadan and Warri to Itakpe train services very soon.”
