Nigerian Activist, Lawyer Deji Adeyanju Appointed To Board Of New York-Based Katutu Civil Rights Center

Nigerian human rights lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has been appointed to the Board of the Katutu Civil Rights Center, an international civil rights organisation headquartered in New York City, United States.
Adeyanju’s appointment is being viewed as a recognition of his years of activism and advocacy for democracy, civil liberties, accountability, and social justice in Nigeria and across Africa.
The outspoken lawyer, who has been involved in several high-profile human rights campaigns and public interest cases in Nigeria, is expected to contribute to the organisation’s global efforts aimed at promoting human rights, civic participation, and support for vulnerable communities.
Reacting to the appointment, Adeyanju expressed appreciation to the organisation for the opportunity to serve on its board, noting that he looks forward to contributing to the Center’s mission of advancing human rights and strengthening civic engagement around the world.
