The Chief Justice of Edo State, Justice Daniel Okungbowa, administered the oaths of office, formally ushering in Okpebholo and Idahosa as the state’s new leadership team.

In his inaugural address, Okpebholo pledged to uphold the state constitution, promote policies for economic growth, and improve the well-being of Edo’s citizens.

However, former Governor Godwin Obaseki was absent from the ceremony, a rare departure from the traditional handover protocols in the state.
