Make Noise From Now Till Eternity, Danladi Remains APC Guber Candidate, Gov. AbdulRazaq’s Aide Dares Yahaya Seriki Amid Kwara APC Crisis
Fafoluyi accused supporters of the defeated governorship aspirant of sponsoring coordinated media attacks against Danladi, Governor AbdulRazaq and the Kwara State chapter of the APC in a bid to discredit the outcome of the party’s primary.
Ilorin, Kwara State– A media aide to Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has make a fresh attack on a former governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ambassador Abdulfatah Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, declaring that no amount of media campaigns, political pressure or sponsored attacks would change the outcome of the party’s governorship primary election.
The governor’s aide, Olayinka Fafoluyi, who served as Special Assistant to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, made the remarks in a social media post widely interpreted as a direct response to the camp of Yahaya Seriki following the emergence of Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi as the APC governorship candidate for the 2027 election.
Fafoluyi accused supporters of the defeated governorship aspirant of sponsoring coordinated media attacks against Danladi, Governor AbdulRazaq and the Kwara State chapter of the APC in a bid to discredit the outcome of the party’s primary.
According to him, those allegedly recruited to criticise the party and its leadership neither have genuine ties to Kwara State nor possess any influence capable of altering the party’s decision.
“In the last few days, the media team of a defeated aspirant has started making unnecessary noise and sponsoring people within and outside the state to make unguarded comments against the Kwara APC Governorship Candidate Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, the leader of the party Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON and the Kwara APC at large,” Fafoluyi wrote.

He insisted that engaging social media influencers and commentators would not reverse the outcome of the governorship primary.
“Forgetting that Paying influencers who have never set foot in Kwara in their lives will still never make him the APC Governorship Candidate for the 2027 general elections,” he added.
Fafoluyi further accused the former governorship aspirant of turning against Governor AbdulRazaq only after failing to secure the party’s governorship ticket, despite previously showering the governor with praise.
“Make noise from now till tomorrow and increase your attacks especially on the Governor, whom you once praised to the high heavens when the odds were in your favour, but let me make it clear: Nothing will change the name of the winner of the APC Governorship Primary. Your plans have been defeated,” he stated.
The latest exchange is the clearest indication yet that internal tensions remain unresolved within the Kwara State chapter of the APC following the controversial governorship primary that produced the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, is the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 governorship election.
The primary has continued to generate controversy among party stakeholders, with several aggrieved members and groups questioning both the conduct of the exercise and the legitimacy of its outcome.
The development has further exposed cracks within the ruling party, as rival camps continue to exchange accusations over the succession battle ahead of the 2027 general elections.
