Kwara State Common Entrance Exam To Take Place On August 19th

The Kwara State government has announced that the common entrance examination for admission into Junior Secondary Schools across the state’s 16 Local Government Areas will take place on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, starting at 8:00 a.m. sharp.
The exam will determine the placement of students in secondary schools.
The Press Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Peter Amogbonjaye, has confirmed that the upcoming common entrance examination in Kwara State will be free of charge.
According to him, Kwara State Government has fully covered all expenses associated with the examination, ensuring equal access to education for all students.
He, however, cautioned head teachers and principals against collecting any money from pupils or their parents in relation to the common entrance examination.
He further explained that the government has made it clear that the examination is fully funded and no additional fees should be charged.
