Federation Cup Final: Yahaya Seriki Pledges N10 Million To Kwara United For Victory
Yahaya Seriki made the promise during the halftime break of the ongoing final match against Abakaliki FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
Ikeja, Lagos State– Business mogul and APC stalwart, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, has pledged a cash reward of N10 million to Kwara United Football Club if they emerge victorious in the final of the 2025 Presidential Federation Cup.
Yahaya Seriki made the promise during the halftime break of the ongoing final match against Abakaliki FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
The generous offer, made in the presence of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and other top dignitaries, is aimed at spurring the team to clinch the prestigious national trophy.
Speaking to the players, Yahaya Seriki ememphasised e importance of the match, noting that a win would not only bring pride to the state but also secure Kwara United’s ticket to represent Nigeria in continental competitions.
“This is more than just a match; it’s about flying the Kwara flag high,” he said.
“If you win this cup, you have N10 million from me, and the pride of a whole state behind you.”
The FUNAB Group CEO has been a long-time supporter of Kwara United and has consistently backed the team in line with Governor AbdulRazaq’s significant investments in sports development across the state.
