EFCC Arrest 44 Internet Fraudsters In Ilorin, Recover Cars, Charms, Others

Ilorin, Kwara State– Operatives from the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters across various locations in Ilorin, Kwara State.

It was gathered that the arrests occurred on Friday, in areas including Sango, Kulende, Taxaco, and Harmony Estate, following actionable intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related crimes.

In a statement released on Friday, by the Head, media and publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed that the Ilorin Directorate arrested suspected internet fraudsters in two days ago.

However , several items recovered from the suspects, including six exotic cars of different brands, laptops, smartphones, and various charms.

He added that the suspects would be charged in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
