Bobrisky had sought multiple reliefs, including an order restraining the EFCC from further harassment, arrest, or detention.

Ikeja, Lagos State– The Federal High Court in Lagos has dismissed a N200 million fundamental rights suit filed by social media personality Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bobrisky had sought multiple reliefs, including an order restraining the EFCC from further harassment, arrest, or detention.

He also demanded N200 million in damages for alleged violations of his rights stemming from his previous arrest and trial.

In rejecting the claims, Justice Owoeye stated, “Having evaluated the evidence placed before this Court by the Applicant, it is evident that the Applicant has failed to provide credible evidence to justify the award of the declaratory and injunctive reliefs sought by him.”

Meanwhile, Bobrisky had dragged both the EFCC and the National Assembly before the court and all the reliefs he sought were thrown out.
