BREAKING: Tinubu Swears Akume In As SGF

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn-in Senator George Akume as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) at the council chamber.

Akume a former governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Present at the swearing in ceremony were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Ahmed Lawan; Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan and wife of the new SGF, Mrs Regina Akume.

Akume was sworn in at a brief event attended by his wife some former and serving inside the Council Chambers of Aso Rock presidential Villa.
