BREAKING: President Tinubu To Address Nation Amidst #EndBadGovernance Protests

Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu is set to address the nation in a televised broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am, in response to the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests that have spread across Nigeria.

The protests, which have gained momentum over the past weeks, call for improved governance, accountability, and transparency in the country’s leadership.

Demonstrators have taken to the streets in several cities, demanding reforms and urging the government to address pressing socio-economic issues.

This is contained in a statement on Saturday, by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President.

The statement read, “Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.”

“The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.”
